Why We Built This Site
Louisiana gives the public a good deal of access to court and warrant information, but the hard part is knowing which office holds the piece you need. A warrant does not live in one place. The court that issues it sets the charge and any bond, while the Sheriff's Office serves it and can say whether it is still open. Bench warrants for missed appearances often stay with the city or ward court that set the case, not with the parish at all. In Calcasieu Parish that means the 14th Judicial District Court and its clerk, Lake Charles City Court, Sulphur City Court, Vinton Municipal Court, the ward justice courts, and the Sheriff's Office can each hold a different part of the picture.
Louisiana also runs no statewide warrant register that pulls those records together, and the parish has no single public warrant portal. Check one office, find nothing, and you can wrongly assume you are clear. We collect the addresses, phone numbers, request steps, and record limits for each office in one place so you can begin with the right one.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Louisiana court, sheriff's office, or state agency. There are real limits to what we can help with:
- We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone
- We cannot remove, recall, quash, or clear a warrant
- We cannot post bond or accept any payment toward a warrant
- We cannot arrange a surrender, a court date, or a walk-through
- We cannot give legal advice or say how a specific warrant applies to you
- We cannot promise that every number, fee, or listing here is current today
Only the court that issued a warrant, or the sheriff's office that holds it, can confirm whether one exists and whether it has been recalled or cleared. We can point you to the right office, but the answer has to come from them.
Search Partners
Some pages here include search boxes run by outside providers. Those companies set their own prices and run their own services. When you use one of those tools and it leads to a paid signup, we may earn a referral fee, and that revenue helps keep this site free. We do not control what those tools charge or what their results contain, and their data is not an official warrant check.
